Ascent Tower

Project Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Overview: Ground has broken on Ascent St. Petersburg, a 36-story, $117 million hotel and apartment tower in downtown St. Petersburg.. The tower will have 354 apartments, 172 hotel rooms and more than 6,700 square feet of retail space. It will also have a four-story parking garage with more than 500 spaces. The building is planned to top out at 357 feet, making it one of the tallest in the city’s skyline. The hotel will be branded as an AC Hotel by Marriott, part of a 10-year-old partnership between Marriott and hotelier Antonio Catalan that emphasizes modern, European-style design and cuisine.

Preparing to drill

Keller North America’s South Florida unit (formerly known as HJ Foundations) is expanding the footprint of it’s innovative augered-cast-in-place (ACIP) pile installation techniques throughout Florida, and bringing bi-directional static load testing along. LTC is honored to have been selected by Keller NA as the testing speciality provider for this signature project.
