Symphony Park

Project Location: Las Vegas, NV

Overview: LTC is excited to have successfully completed our first test program with Malcolm Drilling. The project location was at Symphony Park. The site is a 61-acre former rail depot north of downtown Las Vegas which is now a mixed-use development and includes a performing arts center and a children’s museum. The project specifications called for two test shafts, one nominal 30″ diameter and one 48″ diameter, both approximately 100′ deep. As usual, the Las Vegas caliche did its job and both tests went to very high loads. We thank Geotechnical & Environmental Services, Inc. and Malcolm Drilling for trusting LTC to deliver the deep foundation test data needed to move forward with the project.
